Overview:WAH of the local news section is currently on leave due to a work injury. PING tells KWAN WAH is being charged with conspiracy to defraud a company. HOI does not believe it, as WAH is such an honest person. He suggests meeting WAH to find out what is going on. NGA appears with a basket of fruit at the restaurant. No one except she and HOI show up, for none of their colleagues want to get involved. A few days later, WAH goes the cafeteria to thank HOI for lending him one hundred million dollars, without which he would not be able to hire a lawyer. CHU is very impressed by what HOI has done, and calls him “a real hero”. CHU learns from KEI that HOI and NGA like each other. HOI admits to CHU honestly, but assures him he will not want anything that is beyond what is proper. CHU and SUM strongly oppose NGA’s going out with HOI. LEI is determined to talk them into giving the two young people a chance.
