Overview:Darlene takes the stage to sing "The Show Must Go On," while a love-struck Ambitious looks on. Her song and dance brings down the house. But it looks like her show might not be going on after all: A tense argument breaks out between Spin and Marty as they are getting ready for their Robin Hood scene after Marty wrongly accuses Spin of trying to steal his sword. Old recriminations quickly bubble up to the surface and Spin storms out of the bunkhouse. Boiling mad, Spin jumps on Dynamite and takes off, just as Moochie comes to summon him to the theater. The company is upset when Moochie tells them Spin has walked out, but Annette thinks she may be able to bring him back.
