Biography:Jutarat Pimkaew is a freelance filmmaker based in Bangkok. She graduated from Faculty of Journalism and Masscommunication, Thammasat University, Thailand. Throughout her academic journey, she has contributed to numerous short films in various roles, including producer, assistant director, and casting director. In 2023, she produced A Family Portrait, which was selected for the Official Selection at the Lift-Off Global Network and won the Popular Vote at the Microwave Film Festival in 2024. She also served as assistant director for the pilot shoot of Monkey Graveyard (2023), a project that later received funding from Purin Pictures, Thai Short Film and Southeast Asian Short Film Grant. Beyond narrative shorts, Jutarat is active in the commercial and music video industries in Thailand, working as a stylist, production manager, and production assistant. As a production assistant, she contributed to Yamaha FZ India (2024), which went on to win a Silver Prize at the Auto Marketing Awards.
