Biography:Carla Álvarez (León, 2001) trained in cinematography and production at ESCAC. Bajo el Sol de España, her final degree project, is a comedy that explores the personal experience of living between two worlds that, culturally, tend to repel each other. Leonese by birth and Catalan at heart, she uses humour to reflect on the tension of belonging, roots, and tradition, capturing the beauty of growing up in this contrast.
