Biography:Laura Carreira was born in Porto in 1994. Her first short film, Red Hill (2019), won the New Visions Award at the Edinburgh Festival and was nominated for a BAFTA. Her second, The Shift (2020), premiered in the Orizzonti section of the Venice Film Festival, and won the New Talent Award at IndieLisboa. On Falling is her first feature film.
