Biography:Sofia Leão is a photographer and documentary filmmaker with a degree in Radio and Television from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ. She worked with audiovisual content at Canal Brasil from 2021 to 2023. Currently, she focuses on independent cinema, developing personal projects as a director while also working in the camera department on films by other directors, including Felipe M. Bragança, Denilson Baniwa, and Leonardo Martinelli.
